Buckelew Programs

Buckelew welcomes volunteers and we're currently working on expanding meaningful volunteer opportunities.

We are currently recruiting volunteers for:

1. General Office Help
• Receptionist: part-time position beginning February 1, 2010
• Direct Mail Campaign: help stuff, sort and mail - Nov. 20, 23 & 24, 2009; January 25, 2010, and March 22, 2010
2. Marin/Scapes Art Show 2010

• Silent Auction Solicitation
  Help by soliciting silent auction items between November 1, 2009 and June 1, 2010.
• Set-up
  Help prepare for the big Opening Night Gala party or the weekend art show! Some heavy lifting may be involved.
• Reception Table: “Greeters”
  This is a great way to meet Marin/Scapes guests during the weekend art show. Greet people when they arrive, check names off the guest list, and collect admission fees or complimentary passes at the gate.
• Poster, Note card & Cookbooks
  Help generate revenue for a great cause – Buckelew Programs by staffing the poster/note card/cookbook sales station.
• Bartending
  This volunteer job is a favorite! The bar serves wine and soft drinks which provides you an opportunity to welcome the guests while situated behind Escalle’s classic antique wooden bar. You must be 21 years of age to participate.
• Silent Auction tables
  Every year there is a “Silent Auction” table where businesses and wineries have donated unique and delightful items for participants to bid on. All the proceeds benefit Buckelew Programs. We need hosts for the tables and assistance with set-up and clean-up each day.
