Tune in on June 12 when popular local TV host and producer Doug McConnell interviews artist Kathleen Lipinski about MarinScapes on NBC's Open Road. You'll get a sneak preview of some of the magnificent art included in this year's collection, and find out why it's Kathleen's favorite show of the year. MarinScapes is all about showcasing Marin County's breathtaking natural beauty, and who better than Doug McConnell to guide us to the most amazing spots. Plus, we are thrilled that Doug will join us at the Opening Night Gala on June 23rd for a special introduction of this year's honoree, legendary conservationist Marty Griffin.

Support Groups at FSA Marin Accepting New Members

A Seeking Safety group for women is being offered at Family Service Agency of Marin and is currently accepting new members. The group meets weekly on Tuesdays from 3:00 to 4:30 pm and is designed to help individuals attain safety from trauma and/or substance abuse. New members can join at any time after completing an interview with one of the group facilitators. For more info follow the link below.

AgeSong Marin discussion groups encourage men and women 65 years and older to discover and share genuine concerns and desires, enlivening their search for deeper joy and satisfaction in life. The 8-session program provides an environment in which participants talk about the implications of this stage of life and how to enrich their later years. The groups are led by two experienced facilitators, both also seniors, and are limited to eight participants. Groups meet for an hour and a half once a week and are formed on a first come first serve basis. The fee is $80 for the series of 8 sessions; scholarships are available. Groups are held at locations in San Rafael, Mill Valley, and Novato.
