Marinscapes 2017

Join us for MarinScapes 2017!

There's still time to buy your tickets for the 29th annual MarinScapes Fine Art Exhibit and Sale to benefit Buckelew's comprehensive mental health and addiction services, including Family Service Agency of Marin and the Helen Vine Recovery Center. Held at Escalle Winery in Larkspur June 22 - June 25, MarinScapes will showcase the works of over 30 artists and photographers who capture the stunning beauty and natural scenery of Marin County.

This year's featured artist - and inspirational speaker at our opening night gala! - is Susan Schneider Williams, Marin County fine artist and wife of the late Robin Williams.

May is Mental Health Month!

May is Mental Health Month!

Mental health affects all of us.

One in 4 families is supporting a loved one with serious mental illness. It could be your neighbor struggling with bipolar disorder, it could be your co-worker mourning the loss of their spouse, it could be your sister battling an eating disorder. It could be you. It could be your child.

Buckelew Programs provides mental health and addiction services to our families, our friends, our neighbors.  You can help us promote hope and recovery by making a donation today for Mental Health Month!

Giant Fun at Giants Game for our Sonoma clients

Giant Fun at Giants Game for our Sonoma clients

Thanks to the generosity of the San Francisco Giants who donated a block of tickets, and to our friends at Enterprise Fleet Management who donated the use of a 15 passenger van for the day, our Sonoma County staff was able to take a big group of client members out to the ballgame last week.

Taproot Foundation helps Buckelew, FSA Marin and Helen Vine grow together

Taproot Foundation helps Buckelew, FSA Marin and Helen Vine grow together

We are excited that Buckelew Programs was recently awarded $70,000 worth of pro bono services through the Taproot Foundation. Like the core root of a plant that inspires their name, Taproot nourishes nonprofit organizations like Buckelew Programs by connecting them with the expertise and insights of professionals who volunteer their skills in areas such as marketing, design, strategic planning and human resources through pro bono service. The energetic and dedicated volunteer Taproot team is working with our staff, board members and community stakeholders to help us move forward on our path to becoming a more integrated and cohesive organization.
