Yes, you have several options! Explore all the ways to give.
Yes. You’ll receive a thank-you note and tax receipt via email or mail, depending on how you donated. If you don’t receive your receipt within 30 business days, please contact us at Development@Buckelew.org.
Absolutely. All online donations are processed through a secure, encrypted server, and we never store credit card information. Our payment provider follows the highest industry security standards.
Restricted donations (funding that is designated for a specific program or project) require extra work behind the scenes—additional tracking, reporting, and administration to make sure your gift is used exactly as you intended. The Sustainability Contribution applies a portion of each restricted gift to help cover these costs so Buckelew can honor your wishes while keeping our operations running smoothly. This approach ensures that the costs of managing restricted gifts don’t create an additional financial burden to the organization.
The schedule is as follows: 7.5% for restricted gifts up to $25,000, 5% for restricted gifts between $25,000 – $1 million, and 2% for restricted gifts $1 million and greater.
To the extent the gift is tax-deductible, so is the Sustainability Contribution.
