Cody’s anxiety had a ripple effect on his life. It held him back from pursuing custody of his daughter, creating a stable home, working regularly, and maintaining healthy habits. Then, through weekly Buckelew counseling, he explored past relationships and learned mindfulness and CBT techniques. As his confidence grew, he made positive changes, including strengthening his bond with his daughter.

We offer weekly counseling and psychotherapy to low-income Marin and Sonoma residents with mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, addiction, trauma, postpartum difficulties, divorce, and family transitions. Our therapists specialize in evidence-based approaches, including talk therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and play therapy.

We offer comprehensive open and closed therapy groups. One example is Mariposa, a free clinical therapy program for Spanish-speaking women seeking support with postpartum mental health, domestic violence, or other trauma-related challenges. Held weekly on Zoom, Mariposa provides a safe space for women to connect, share, and receive professional care in their own language.
