Buckelew Programs welcomes New Board Member Mary T. McDevitt

San Rafael, CA.-

Newest board member, Mary T. McDevitt, joins the Buckelew Programs Board of Directors, contributing her expertise and experience in health care communications. Mary retired from McKesson Corporation, a global health care services company, where she held senior roles in corporate public affairs, marketing communications and program management for more than 15 years.

“I became aware of Buckelew Programs through its annual fundraiser, MarinScapes. (Fine Art Show). Now that I’m consulting on a part-time basis, I wanted to give back to a vital and collaborative local organization that addresses and supports the challenges of mental health and addiction recovery which impacts so many.”

Mary brings 10 years of health care operations, business development and marketing in roles at WebMD, Health Management Technologies and Continental Medical Systems. Mary has a M.S. in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Nursing from the University of San Francisco. She counts Sigma Theta Tau (love, courage and honor) as part of her family tree. Mary has lived in Marin County since 1988 and is an avid outdoor enthusiast who is often joined by her family, friends and Portuguese water dog.
