Board Vice Chair
Carol-Anne Chang joined the Buckelew Board of Directors in 2023 and is thrilled support an organization providing an impressive range of services and continuum of care. She is an executive leadership coach and senior advisor with global experience, following a 27-year career in foreign affairs and public service with the U.S. Department of State and the Peace Corps.
Carol-Anne’s connection to Buckelew’s mission is personal, shaped by her own family’s experience with mental health challenges. Passionate about reducing stigma and expanding access to care, she is dedicated to helping people find the resources they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.
As a senior diplomat, Carol-Anne led negotiations with foreign governments and multilateral organizations, managed complex operations, and specialized in talent management and organizational development. She served in policy and leadership positions in U.S. embassies in Asia, Africa, and Washington, D.C., before moving to Marin County in 2021. Carol-Anne retired from her diplomatic career in 2022 to focus on coaching organizational development and making a meaningful impact in her community.
