An innovative model for short-term residential treatment for those with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health needs.
Rising Recovery Center is a 15-bed, short-term residential treatment center in San Rafael for adults experiencing both substance use and mental health diagnoses. This program supports those with little or no income receive much-needed access to care.
This innovative program focuses on stabilization, recovery support, and skill-building to help clients referred by Marin County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services transition into longer-term treatment, supported housing, and independent living. This model empowers people to break cycles that too often lead to incarceration, hospitalization, homelessness, or institutionalization.
