Amy has always been her daughter’s fiercest advocate, but years of navigating Joanna’s complex mental health challenges left her exhausted and afraid for the future. Then came Buckelew’s Casa Rene and Marin Assisted Independent Living programs, offering not just stability for Joanna but long-overdue relief for Amy. The services and care Joanna received, along with the way staff coordinated with her doctors and included Amy, made all the difference. Amy remembers with gratitude how the case manager and staff remained steadfast, strong advocates for her daughter.
