Danielle was in her late 20s when psychosis upended her life, filling it with paranoia, depression, hospitalizations, and job loss. Withdrawn and barely speaking, she and her family turned to the Sonoma County Independent Living Program for support. With her case worker’s help over several years, Danielle regained essential life skills, secured housing, and pursued a career in mental health counseling. “Buckelew helped me relearn how to live my life,” she says.
