Miwok Meadows, China Camp State Park
Located off N. San Pedro Road in San Rafael. After you pass the campground entrance, look for the Miwok Meadows sign on your right.

Ample parking is available along N. San Pedro Road. Follow our signs and parking attendant directions.There is a short walk via fire road to Miwok Meadows; a shuttle is available for those requiring assistance. Parking in the lot is reserved parking only.
All pets are prohibited in the park. Service animals only.

Distance: 4.2 miles • Elevation Gain: 248 ft
New to mountain biking or just looking for a laid-back ride? This non-technical dirt trail loops through shaded woods and lower campsites for a great intro to China Camp area. Low pressure, high enjoyment.
Best for: Casual riders and first-timers looking for a relaxed, welcoming Mt. Bike ride experience.
Distance: 10 miles • Elevation Gain: 1,000 ft
A crowd-pleaser of a route, this ride starts with a mellow roll through the campground, followed by a moderate climb through wooded trails, followed by three sections of fun flowy descents spiked with small technical sections to keep you on your toes, and ends with some playful ups and downs on your way back to base camp.
Best for: Intermediate riders who ride 3–4 times a month and are ready for some fun and introduction to some of the best trails Marin has to offer.
Distance: 14.5 miles • Elevation Gain: 2,000 ft
This expert-level route is 90% singletrack and packed with everything you love about Marin riding. You’ll climb to the summit of Mt. Pedro for stunning 360° views, descend the backside through some of Marin’s most exciting terrain, climb again to test your legs, and finish with a few fun flowy descents spiked with small technical sections and fast return to the event.
Best for: Experienced riders who ride 2–3 times a week and are looking for some of the best single-track Marin has to offer.
