The Sonoma County Independent Living (SCIL) Program

Eligibility Requirement: Sonoma County Resident. You must have a referral and a diagnosis from Sonoma County Behavioral Health

The Sonoma County Independent Living (SCIL) Program helps clients gain and maintain their independence in the community, individually or in shared households.

  • Provides support and mental health services to assist clients in securing and maintaining independent housing and improving their quality of life and level of self-sufficiency.
  • Our Intensive Supportive Housing Program (SCIL-ISHP) is a case management program with more intensive wrap around care while clients live in a group setting. This program serves to assist those transitioning from a long-term 24-hour care settings to more independent living opportunities.
