Steve Diamondhas moved into the Program Director position, overseeing the Counseling, Suicide Prevention and MaternidadEsperanza Programs. A team member with Buckelew since June of 2020, Steve had most recently worked with the Matrix Parent Network & Resource Center, as well as Horizon Services and the Edgewood Center, all in the Bay Area.

“Steve brings great leadership to Buckelew, as well as a wealth of knowledge in program management and clinical expertise,” says Connie Mann, Buckelew Programs Behavioral Health Regional Director.

A native of San Francisco and San Mateo, Steve received his BA from the University of Oregon and his MA in Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University. His work is focused in the areas of crisis management, adult residential treatment, childhood disabilities and substance use.

Inspired to enter the mental health field early in life, Steve’s vision for Buckelew is to expand our services in Marin and Sonoma as well as increase awareness of our programs.
