Sonoma Vintner’s Grant awarded to Buckelew Programs

We are grateful to our long-time partners at the Sonoma County Vintners Foundation for a recent generous grant of $10,000 to Buckelew Programs. The Foundation “cultivates a vibrant and diverse Sonoma County by elevating lives through charitable events and philanthropic giving.”

Last year, the Foundation helped us to fund an expansion of our invaluable Family Service Coordination program in Sonoma County. This year—seeing the increasing need for support due to the Covid-19 crisis—they provided Buckelew Programs with an unrestricted grant, allowing us to use the funds where they are needed most.

Buckelew Sonoma provides clients with affordable housing coupled with supportive services, including specialized programs for transitional age youth, homeless individuals, and clients referred for mental health treatment and housing through the criminal justice system. Our innovative Family Service Coordination program offers free resources to families seeking support for a loved one with mental illness.

It is our successful approach that has made Buckelew Programs the preferred resource to assist these community members and guide them toward healthier, more independent lives.
